CSSC Refunds and Offers
HAMPSHIRE NORTH SUBSIDIES
To reflect the national CSSC policy of introducing a sliding scale for subsidies for 2022, we are making some changes to the rebates you can claim from the Area.
Subsidies will be limited to an annual total of £75 per member on all the various options below, and will only apply to members of the Hampshire North Area.
Theatre, Sporting Events and Visitor Attractions
You can claim a full refund on any event that costs up to £15.
For events costing up to £51 your claim will be capped at £15.

National Trust Properties
You can claim a full refund on the entry to a property that costs up to £15.
For properties costing up to £51 for entry your claim will be capped at £15.
If you take out annual membership with the National Trust you can claim a subsidy of up to £45 for individual membership, or up to £45 each for joint membership as long as both of you are CSSC members. You will need to provide evidence of the membership fee that you paid.
Sports Centre Discount
You can claim a subsidy towards membership at Basingstoke Sports Centre, Andover Sports Centre or the Riverside Leisure Centre in Winchester. Slimming Classes/Fitness Classes, etc.
You can claim a subsidy as above (provided you are not also claiming a Sports Centre discount). Claims for other activities will be at the discretion of the Committee.
Coach Trips
Leaway will claim a subsidy based on the discount given to CSSC members up to a maximum of 4 trips during the year.
The trip organiser will make a bulk claim, but be aware that this subsidy will count against individual member’s annual claim limit.
Group Holidays
Any trips organised by a constituent Group within the Area that include an overnight stay will attract a £10 per
night rebate for up to 7 nights during the year. The trip organiser will make a bulk claim and reflect that in the price charged to members, and again be aware that this subsidy will count against individual member’s annual claim limit.
Any of the above mentioned offers may be withdrawn if there are insufficient funds to pay for them.
Claiming
Please remember that all claims must include your CSSC Membership number, proof of purchase, and the address to where the cheque should be posted. Claims should be sent to Tony Brazier, 29 Warwick Road, Basingstoke, RG23 8DX, or can be sent electronically - bjmapbr@ntlworld.com

Claims may take up to a month to process, or longer if we have not received the funding from Head Office. Claims are for Hampshire North members only. If you wish to claim for tickets for other people, they must be CSSC members and you must quote their membership numbers as well.
I must remind you that you cannot claim for further discounts from the Area Association if the original cover price has
been discounted through your local club (such as Leaway) or through the CSSC On-line shopping link. You should also note that if you did not take advantage of an On-line shopping discount when making a purchase, any local discount will be based on the amount that you would have paid by using the On-line shopping facility.
The date that the claim is received will determine which year’s allocation it comes from. If you claim in 2020 for an event that you attended in 2019 it will count against your 2020 allocation.
Please note
You can either claim for 6 of one group, or from any of these categories. These must be claimed within 6 months of the event and not before the event has taken place.
NB. When submitting a claim, by post, please ensure you pay the correct postage to avoid deduction from your claim.
