Leaway- EGM Proposal - questions ,  answers and Members comments 

Dear Members,

Further to the recent letter from the Leaway Chair, The Leaway Sports & Social Club Committee hereby call an Extraordinary General Meeting on Monday 9th September 2024 at 19:00 virtually via Zoom.

As a consequence of the recent CSSC changes in procedures and regulations the Leaway Committee have been unable to directly organise events for our members. The new processes require volunteer organisers to act as part of the Hampshire North CSSC Area Association.

There is no option but for the Leaway Club to close, as it is unable to organise any events. If members wish events to continue, they must become a volunteer organiser and contact Kelly Young @ Kelly.Young@CSSC.co.uk

In accordance with the Constitution (which can be found at the following link  https://leawaysportsandsoc.wixsite.com/website) we hereby propose the following:

The Leaway Sports & Social Club shall be dissolved on 31st December 2024 and the monies held will be divided equally amongst the members.

Please respond via email to leawaysportsandsocial@hotmail.co.uk either:

I AGREE that the Leaway Sports & Social Club shall be dissolved.

OR

I REJECT this proposal, and I am aware that the Leaway is UNABLE to organise any events.
